Deciduous, slowly spreading rhizomatous fern with striking silvery coloration and maroon stems. Silver color is most vibrant in sprint and fronds become greener with hotter weather. Height 12-18".
Prefers humusy, rich, medium moisture well drained soil. Do not allow to dry out. Has the best color in light shade. Tolerates heavy shade and wet soils. Deer and rabbit resistant.
