A delightful basil with a spicy lemon citrus flavor. Leaves are medium green, narrow, and pointed with delicate white flowers. Wonderful when used in vinaigrettes, salads, and garnishes.
Basil prefers consistently moist, rich soil and does not tolerate drought. To increase branching and leaf production, pinch back flower buds as they form. Harvest in early morning and store unwashed and refrigerated to avoid brown spots and wilting. Flowers are attractive to bees and make good cut flowers.
