Strongest downy mildew resistance on the market. This vigorous variety is compact and uniform producing large amounts of medium sized, pointed dark green leaves bursting with fragrance and flavor. Strong bolt resistance. Great for containers or planted in the garden.
Basil prefers consistently moist, rich soil and does not tolerate drought. To increase branching and leaf production, pinch back flower buds as they form. Harvest in early morning and store unwashed and refrigerated to avoid brown spots and wilting. Flowers are attractive to bees and make good cut flowers.
