Blueberry ‘Chandler’

Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Chandler’

Northern Highbush

Mid to late season variety producing one of the largest blueberries on the market! These quarter sized gems will continue to mature over weeks, offering an extended harvesting season.

Known for producing one of the largest blueberries on the market. Bushy, upright deciduous shrub with creamy-white blooms give way to massive, sweet, dark blue berries. A long ripening season means you can harvest from this variety for up to six weeks! Attractive to pollinators. Beautiful red and purple fall foliage adds excellent ornamental value. Height 5-6′.

Blueberries require medium to wet, well-drained, acidic soil (4.5 – 5.5) rich in organic material. Even though highbush blueberries are self-fertile and will fruit on their own, they will produce larger and more plentiful crops with other cultivars that bloom at the same time are present to cross-pollinate.
