Description
A compact, bushy, upright deciduous shrub. Sweetly fragrant shell-pink blooms give way to mid-sized fruit that begins pale green, then gradually blushes pink before ripening to a deep rosy shade. The berries have a mild, sweet bite. Attractive to pollinators. Beautiful yellow and orange fall foliage adds excellent ornamental value. Height 4-5′.
Blueberries require medium to wet, well-drained, acidic soil (4.5 – 5.5) rich in organic material. Even though highbush blueberries are self-fertile and will fruit on their own, they will produce larger and more plentiful crops with other cultivars that bloom at the same time are present to cross-pollinate.
