A low growing, compact mound of blue-grey grass that will turn golden brown in the fall.  The flowers, that resemble tiny brushes, are tinted red before they fade to straw. Height 12-24".

Prefers average, dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates air pollution and a wide range of soils. Intolerant of poorly drained soils. May self seed in the garden. Warm season grass.
