A lovely red cabbage with hues of deep purple to violet red forming distinctly pointed heads that can reach up to 2 pounds.
Cabbage is a cool season crop and should be planted for spring or fall seasons to avoid the heat of the summer which causes the plants to bolt. Partial shade in hot afternoon heat can help. Drought can also cause the plants to bolt. Prefers consistently moist, well drained soil rich in organic matter.
