A delightful miniature pointed green cabbage. Surrounded by layers of sturdy, textured outer leaves, the inner head is pale green and tender with a sweet, mild cabbage flavor. Its the perfect cabbage for eating raw or adding to slaws and salads.
Cabbage is a cool season crop and should be planted for spring or fall seasons to avoid the heat of the summer which causes the plants to bolt. Partial shade in hot afternoon heat can help. Drought can also cause the plants to bolt. Prefers consistently moist, well drained soil rich in organic matter.
