Fluffy plumes in June, turn buff-brown in mid-summer. Very strict, upright habit, tolerates moist soil, plumes effective through early winter. Height 6'.
Prefers average, medium to wet well drained soils. Do not allow to dry out. Tolerates air pollution, heavy clay soils, humidity, and salts. Cool season grass. Deer and rabbit resistant.
