Heirloom dating back to the late 1870s grown for its early maturity and outstanding performance. Creamy white floret heads are packed with dense curds that are tender, buttery, and crisp. Sturdy wrapper leaves curl around that protect and blanch the head. Great, nutty cauliflower taste that is is enjoyed raw or cooked.
Cauliflower is a cool season crop that grows best in the fall, although it can be planted in the spring. It does not tolerate summer heat well. Prefers fertile, consistently moist, well-drained soil.
