Long, slender, lavender pink petals drooping from brown central cones. Height 2-3′.
Echinacea attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates heat, humidity and poor soils. Deadhead to promote new blooms or leave the seed heads for the birds. Deer resistant.
