Delicate wands of small star like white flowers on reddish stems, three lobed olive green leaves. Gillenia attracts bees and butterflies to the garden. The foliage turns a beautiful bronzy red in the fall. Prefers moist, humus rich, average to medium well drained soils. Deer resistant. Height 2-3′.
