Hibiscus moscheutos (Swamp Mallow)

Huge, up to 8" across, flower that are white, rose or pink, and sometimes with a red or burgundy eye. Each flower has a creamy white to pale yellow stamen. Height 3-7'.

Hibiscus attracts butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Prefers medium-wet, organically rich soils. Drought tolerate when established. Heat and humidity tolerate.
