Liatris attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Prefers average to moist, slightly acidic well drained soil. One of the few Liatris that can handle moist conditions. Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates heat, humidity and poor soil. Deer resistant.
