A tender aromatic herb with gray-green leaves similar in flavor to Oregano, although noted to be sweeter. Small creamy lilac flowers are also edible but the foliage typically has better flavor before the flowers bloom. Originating from the Mediterranean region, this plant prefers average to dry, well-drained soils. Height 12-18″.
