Brilliant red, tubular flowers bloom like fireworks on showy flower heads. Aromatic foliage is bright green upright, and the most mildew resistant of the red Monarda varieties. Height 3-4'.
Monarda attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers moderately fertile, humus rich, moist well drained soil. Do not all to dry out. Deadhead to promote new blooms. Deer and rabbit resistant.
