Stacked layers of small, yellow, spotted flowers and dusky, silvery-pink bracts create a unique floral show on this native. Narrow, toothed, light green foliage is fragrant with square, dark purple branched stems. Height 18-24″.
Monarda attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates poor soil. Deadhead to promote new blooms. Will self seed in the garden. Deer and rabbit resistant.
