Large dark, true royal-purple blooms mass the tops of upright, sturdy stems with fragrant, rough textured foliage. Excellent powdery mildew resistance. Height 3-4'.
Monarda attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Prefers moderately fertile, humus rich, moist well drained soil. Do not all to dry out. Deadhead to promote new blooms. Deer and rabbit resistant.
