True to its name, this variety produces high yields of delicious dark purple-black fruits with skin thin enough to eat fresh off the vine or for use in processing into juices, wine, jam, jellies and more. Disease resistant, self-fertile, and early to ripen, its an easy choice that will produce great results. Height 1-3′.
Muscadine grapes must be planted in well drained soils and require a trellising system as they are vines. Cordons, or arms from the main stem can reach 8-12′ in length and can be trained laterally along a trellis as they grow.
