Bright red buds opening to vivid yellow flowers on upright stems with bronze-green foliage. Foliage mounds turn are evergreen, turning shades of deep red in winter. A compact native selection that spreads slowly with underground rhizomes. Height 15-18″.
Oenothera attracts bees and butterfies to the garden. Prefers average, dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates poor soil. Deer resistant.
