Description
Large semi to fully double uniquely golden yellow flowers streaked with crimson red in the center, green foliage starts out coppery bronze in spring.Height 30-36″.
Paeonia attracts butterflies to the garden. Prefers fertile, medium moisture well drained soil. Deer and rabbit resistant.
Itoh peonies, as they are commonly called, are intersectional hybrids; crosses between herbaceous garden peonies and woody tree peonies. The result is a peony with a multitude of exceptionally large blooms, beautiful foliage, a bushy habit with strong stems that do not require staking, and increased hardiness.
