Attractive powder blue foliage in a fountain like form, airy light blue flowers emerge in late summer and age to tan seed heads that remain through winter. Height 4-5′.
Panicum attracts birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates air pollution, dry soils, infertile sandy soils, and salts. Warm season grass. Deer resistant.
