Sturdy and upright habit with blue green foliage. Golden tan panicles in early fall. Panicum attracts birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, medium to wet soils. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates air pollution, clay soils, dry soils, occasional flooding and sandy soils. Warm season grass. Deer resistant. Height 5-6′.
