Heirloom variety with dark green, densely bunched, heavily ruffled leaves that resemble moss. Wonderful fresh aroma, great for garnishes, and excellent parsley flavor that is milder than flat-leaf varieties. Host plant for swallowtail butterflies. Height 12-18″.
Prefers fertile, moist, well-drained soils. Parsley is a biennial, usually coming back the next year to flower and set seed, but flavor is best the first year. Will self-seed in good conditions.
