Cheerful, bright crimson red fleecy flower spikes held on long, graceful wands atop of bushy clumps of large, dark green leaves. Height 3-4′.
Persicaria attracts bees, birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, medium moisture well drained soil. Tolerant of frost, poorly drained soil and wet soils. Not considered invasive but need plenty of room to spread. May self seed in the garden. Deer and rabbit resistant.
