Clusters of large, fragrant, lavender-blue blooms with white centers and tiny red eyes on deep purple stems above dark green foliage. Flower color appears to change color throughout the day, appearing bluer in the mornings and evenings; a result of sunlight changes. Height 24-36″.
Phlox paniculata attracts bees, birds, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Prefers fertile, medium moisture well drained soil. This variety is remarkably mildew resistant. Deadhead to promote new blooms. May self seed in the garden. Deer resistant.
