Pycnanthemum virginianum (Virginia Mountainmint)

Small white flowers, often spotted with purple, atop of fragrant upright stems. Height 2-3'.

Pycnanthemum attracts bees and butterflies to the garden. One of the top 10 pollinator plants available. Prefers average, dry to medium well drained soil. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerant of heat, clay and rocky soils. Pycnanthemum is a vigorous and aggressive grower that spreads by long rhizomes. Deer resistant.
