Bright yellow daisy-like flowers with elongated green center discs bloom on tall branched stems. Deeply cut, toothed, green foliage forms large mounds. Rudbeckia attracts bees, birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers moderately fertile, moist well drained soil. Tolerant of heat, humidity and wet areas. Deadhead to promote new blooms. Deer and rabbit resistant. Despite the height, this perennial does not require staking. Height 4-7′.
