Anise-scented butter yellow daisy-like flowers 3″ across with dark brown centers. Tall, branched flowering stems emerge from gray-green foliage. Rudbeckia attracts bees, birds and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, medium moisture well drained soil. Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates heavy clay soils, heat and humidity. Deadhead to promote new blooms. Deer and rabbit resistant. Height 3-5′.
