Glossy, burgundy leaves that transforms to a deep purple followed by red in the fall, light pale blue flower spikes appear above the foliage. Makes a great substitute for Ajuga.

Salvia attracts bees, birds, butterflies and hummingbirds to the garden. Prefers dry to moist well drained soil. Drought tolerant when established. Tolerates heat, humidity and wet soils. May self seed in the garden. Deer and rabbit resistant.  Height 18″.
