A long favored variety for its beautiful crinkled leaves, rich flavor, and durability in the garden. Although spinach is generally a cool season crop, this variety holds up well and is slow to bolt in the heat. Continual harvesting will promote new leafy growth for a longer harvest period. Best planted in spring and fall.
Spinach prefers rich, consistently moist, well-drained soil.
