Symphytum grandiflorum ‘Wisley Blue’ (Comfrey)

Blue flowers emerge on red tipped buds, gradually fading to light blue. This mat forming rhizomatous perennial with light green crinkled, hairy leaves is great for smothering weeds and makes a great groundcover. Height 12-24".

Symphytum attracts bees and butterflies to the garden. Prefers average, medium to moist well drained soil. Drought tolerate when established. Tolerates shade and a variety of soils. Deer resistant.
