Veronicastrum virginicum (Culver’s Root)

Long spikes of densely clustered, tiny flowers in shades of white, blue, pink and purple giving a candelabra look, dark green leaves. Height 3-6'.

Veronicastrum attracts bees and birds to the garden. Prefers average, medium to wet well drained soil. Do not allow to dry out. Tolerates clay soils, light shade, and wet soils. Deadhead to promote new blooms. Deer resistant.
